the grand opening of made by miffy ! Pop on over to have a look. Join Club Miffy and you can get regular (yes more regular than my blogging habits of late) updates and special offers. To thank you for your patience and support and kind (and kinda nagging - yes you know who I mean Missy!) words - please use the secret and entirely unimaginitve codeword OPEN in the shopping cart to receive 15% off any purchase from now til 2nd November. As our poor little Aussie dollar is trading at around 65 US cents - that is a huge bargain for you international sistas and for us Aussie shielas - well just plain ol' good value for some Miffy goodness!
This week saw a fun photo shoot at my mate Pip's house. The boys and Darcy and Drummer the Labrador too were great models. There were a few stoushes - but boys will be boys - and Darcy is just plain rough, all in all though a great success. Apart from a few like this...
And my personal favourite blooper shot of the lovely Drummer's rear end!
A quick photo catchup of my time MIA.
September - we visited Dayna and co in Guyra. Went to what we think must be the World's most dangerous theme park. Everything hand made - scary stuff - no safety harnesses, lots of mayhem - bizarre! It was at a little place called Tingha. Middle of nowhere, former mining town in the 18somethings and now the home to DangerWorld (my name - but feel free to use it Dangerworld). Here is the homemade rollercoaster.
This thing shoots along and the kids are unharnessed, unsupervised - having a ball! In the background you can see the tin slide. Now it was a hot day - but not summer... and Jackie goes up the extremly high ladder at the back (an adventure in itself) then scoots down the slide - in shorts - on the tin that has been baking for hours in the hot sun. That is a ride you only want to do once!!
The kids discovered the hidden Christmas decorations and rejoiced in costume...
Darcy got all dressed up in her new madebymiffy creation. Accessorised with a Buzz Lightyear laser gun, Mum's glasses and of course - pink disposable gloves on your hands - and yellow ones on your feet.
Please head on over to my shop and enjoy the special offer. And thanks Janice for keeping on at me to blog. If you lived closer we could sit on the back deck and toast my initiative with a glass of Champers!
